Do I need to book an appointment to bring my watch in?
Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, though calling ahead means we can give you our full attention. For more involved pieces, an appointment allows us to discuss your watch properly before you travel.
How long does a typical service take?
A precision timing adjustment usually takes about one week. Water resistance seal work is often completed in two to three days. A comprehensive movement service tends to run two to three weeks depending on the calibre and current workload. We'll give you a realistic estimate once we've assessed the watch.
Will you let me know the cost before starting work?
Yes — always. We assess the watch and share our findings before any work is carried out. The prices listed for each service are the standard rates; if anything additional is warranted, we discuss it with you first and wait for your go-ahead.
What kinds of watches do you service?
We work on most mechanical and automatic watches, as well as quartz models for timing and seal services. Swiss, Japanese, and German calibres are all within our scope. If you have an unusual or vintage piece, it's worth a conversation first — we'll be straightforward about whether we're the right fit.
Is there a charge if I decide not to go ahead with the service?
No. An initial assessment is offered without charge. If you decide the work isn't something you'd like to proceed with after hearing our findings, you're welcome to take the watch back at no cost.
How does Bangkok's climate affect my watch?
The heat and humidity here can accelerate lubricant degradation and, in older pieces, hasten seal deterioration. We factor this into our assessments and service intervals. Watches worn regularly in Bangkok's climate often benefit from a timing check every three to four years.
