Brought in my Seiko 5 that had been running about 40 seconds fast per day. Thanakorn showed me the timing machine readout before and after — it settled to within five seconds after regulation. Priced exactly as listed, no extra charges. The directness about what to expect was something I had not experienced at other repair shops.

I inherited a Longines from my grandfather and wasn't certain whether a full service was worthwhile. The team assessed it, gave me their honest view that the movement was in reasonable shape but the seals were old, and recommended only the seal care. That kind of restraint is rare — I've been to places that recommend the most expensive option regardless.

A IWC Pilot's watch that needed a comprehensive service — hadn't been touched in about eight years. The written condition report they provided was more detailed than I expected. The watch came back running within eight seconds per day across positions. Turnaround was two and a half weeks, which matched what they told me at the start.

I was worried about leaving a watch worth quite a bit of money with a workshop I hadn't used before. They offered to walk me through the assessment findings in person, which put my mind at ease. The seal care was done cleanly and within the two or three days they estimated. The watch has worn daily since without any issue.

My husband's Tudor that we had bought in Geneva years ago. It had been sitting in a drawer for four years. The comprehensive service was thorough — the condition report described everything clearly, including a worn mainspring they suggested replacing, which we agreed to. The watch runs beautifully now and looks much better after the case cleaning.

I came in not sure whether my Omega Seamaster needed a service or just a regulation. Thanakorn assessed it and explained clearly that the movement itself was in reasonable order — a timing adjustment was all it needed. An honest answer when a different shop might have sold me a full service. I have recommended this place to several colleagues since.

Service accounts in more detail
Three cases described at length — the situation, what we found, and what was done.
The Situation
Vintage Omega Constellation, 1964
A retired engineer brought in his father's watch — a 1964 Omega Constellation automatic that had not been serviced since at least 2005. It was still running, but losing around 90 seconds per day and the crown felt stiff.
What We Found
The movement showed dried lubricants throughout, a slightly worn mainspring, and the crown seal had fully degraded. The timing machine showed inconsistent readings across positions, confirming the lubricant state. The case and dial were in fine original condition.
What We Did
A full comprehensive service with mainspring replacement. Post-service timing settled at ±7 seconds per day across six positions. The crown seal was replaced and pressure-tested. The written condition report noted the original dial and hands as well preserved and advised against any refinishing of the case to maintain period character.
Duration: 3 weeks · ฿13,900 + mainspring
The Situation
Grand Seiko SBGR001, daily wear
A client who travels regularly between Bangkok and Japan brought in a Grand Seiko that was gaining 15 seconds per day. He wanted to know if the issue was worth addressing or if the watch simply ran fast.
What We Found
The movement was in good condition — lubrication adequate and mainspring healthy. The timing issue was positional rather than mechanical, likely exacerbated by frequent changes in temperature between Bangkok's climate and air-conditioned environments. Fine regulation was the appropriate response.
What We Did
Precision timing adjustment only. Post-service: +4 seconds per day dial-up, +2 seconds crown-down. We advised that given the travel pattern, a slight positive rate was appropriate so the watch averaged close to zero. The client decided not to proceed with the seal service — the seals were still adequate and the watch is not worn in water.
Duration: 6 days · ฿7,100
The Situation
Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar
A client had noticed condensation forming briefly inside the glass after a heavy rain. The watch was still functioning normally but she was concerned about long-term moisture exposure to the movement.
What We Found
The crown seal had begun to perish, and the case back gasket showed early-stage compression set. No moisture had reached the movement — the condensation was brief and the solar cell had remained functional. We advised that the seals were worth replacing soon but no movement service was necessary.
What We Did
Water resistance and seal care service only, as recommended. The replacement seals were sourced from our Tissot supply stock. Pressure tested to the watch's rated depth. Returned in two days with a note confirming the movement showed no moisture ingress and the watch was comfortable for normal daily use, including light rain.
Duration: 2 days · ฿10,700
